As of tomorrow, Bluefly(.com) will carry "all the same sophisticated shirts, suits, shoes and accessories as a traditional haberdasher." According to Bluefly, "The Tailor 'suits' the man who has a strong sense of personal style and wants the polished look of a custom suit maker – without the stuffiness, expense and time commitment."
It seems hard to understand how this represents a new feature for Bluefly, being that they have always carried designer and high-end suits, shirts, and other formal wear. It is also doubtless that when ordering any of these things online, a tailor will very likely be necessary. When was the last time that you bought a suit off the rack that didn't need adjustment?
I am looking forward to seeing what is actually available when the microsite goes live tomorrow. That said, I will always be one for the old-fashion tailor experience.
